How To Wear Striped Pants Pt. 1

image

This week I’ll be showing you two different ways to wear striped pants this fall. First up, I’m dressing down these thrifted striped pants with a striped button down shirt for a “stripes on stripes” look. Keep it casual by pairing the pants with a button down or a simple long sleeve shirt with boots or white sneakers. Stay tuned for Friday’s post as I will be dressing up the look! Less Is More With These 4 Pieces

image

It’s all about not over doing it. I believe that less is more when getting dressed. Yeah, you don’t want to look like a basic B, but you can still look like a “cool” basic B with the right pieces. All you need is a basic top, basic bottoms, and a cool belt paired with some boots. Shop some of my favorite basic pieces below! -De

Summer ‘IT’ Sunglasses

 image

You’ve seen them all over Kylie Jenner’s selfie snaps and on other celebrities. The brow bar shades are the IT sunglasses of the summer. Olivia Palermo, Rihanna, and Chiara Ferragni have been seen wearing these retro ‘So Real’ Dior sunglasses. I’ve got the real ones and for those that like to keep it affordable, I’ve got those too. What do you guys think of this trend? Shop sunnies below -De

Military Green

untitled225

I’ve never been a big fan of the color green, but this military green is definitely acceptable. The military inspired look is another big trend for this spring. This Express shirt dress is perfect to wear as a dress, with pants, or wear it as a jacket. I love it because it is so versatile. It is also easy to dress up or down. As you’ll see in most pictures I am wearing my H&M sneakers, but then switch to some nude ankle bootie heels with a vintage black belt. Express X TVFU Festival Look

IMG_8663 copy

It’s finally here!! I am so excited for you guys to see what I’ve been working on, and had such a fun time collaborating with Express again. I’m so excited I had the chance to style their new May products for spring (you’re going to want everything). My first look was the black romper, which I paired with the most amazing fringe necklace and black gladiator sandals. This look screams festival. Fringe is a major trend this spring and I can’t wait to wear this necklace all summer. The romper is so versatile and comfortable to throw on over your bathing suit or to dress it up with some heels. My favorite pieces are the ones you can lounge in and get away with going out in. The gladiators will always be a must have in my book for summer. They just make any outfit look cool. Express X TVFU Day to Night

My second look was very minimal. First of all, the Express denim leggings are probably the most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve ever worn. I paired them with my Express nude bucket bag and mules. I love this bag because you can fit so much into it without it ever looking too bulky. Not only is the bag very chic, but it fits all of my essentials and it’s another great piece to wear with any outfit. Another one of my favorite items are the nude mules. These shoes are also so comfortable and I can pretty much get away with wearing them with any outfit this summer. Not only because they are nude, but I am obsessed with them and you will probably see me wearing them every time I go out. Don’t forget to check out the feature on Express Fashion U to view my favorite Express picks, and updates on the other Style Ambassadors debut of their looks! -De

Denim on Denim

image

Yes, you can wear the Canadian tuxedo now. Denim on denim is a major trend this season, aside from fringe. The 70s are a major come back for spring and I’m not mad about it. I really love the denim on denim look and think anyone can pull it off (not just Rihanna). The rule is you have to make sure your top and bottom are similar in color. Go with all darker denim or all light wash denim. You either match or you don’t. Let me know what you guys think about this trend! Shop my similar look below! – De
