Get Lolla Ready

Lollapalooza is this week, so I wanted to share some inspiration images from the best festival goers to help you prepare for your outfit. We know it takes some well thought out planning to pull off that effortless festival look (hehe). I’m really into keeping it simple this year with denim cut-offs and a bodysuit like Bella’s look. Lolla ’15 Look

I decided not to design my outfit this year, as I have the past two years. Instead, I wanted to try out this new “see through” dress trend. Although the look can look somewhat revealing (parents may not approve), but I’d say it’s definitely appropriate for Lollapalooza. I paired my lace-up bodysuit from Missguided underneath the gold knitted dress with a pair of white Converse. You can even dress up the look by wearing a nude slip underneath with heels. I absolutely love this trend and want to know what you guys think? Shop the look below! – De

Express X TVFU Festival Look

It’s finally here!! I am so excited for you guys to see what I’ve been working on, and had such a fun time collaborating with Express again. I’m so excited I had the chance to style their new May products for spring (you’re going to want everything). My first look was the black romper, which I paired with the most amazing fringe necklace and black gladiator sandals. This look screams festival. Fringe is a major trend this spring and I can’t wait to wear this necklace all summer. The romper is so versatile and comfortable to throw on over your bathing suit or to dress it up with some heels. My favorite pieces are the ones you can lounge in and get away with going out in. The gladiators will always be a must have in my book for summer. They just make any outfit look cool. Don’t forget to check out the feature on Express Fashion U to view my favorite Express picks, and updates on the other Style Ambassadors debut of their looks! Keep on scrolling to view my second look! -De

Custom For Lolla

DSC_0753 DSC_0755 DSC_0760 DSC_0762 DSC_0774 DSC_0777 DSC_0780 DSC_0786 DSC_0787 DSC_0795DIY – Since I got completely drenched on day 3 of Lollapalooza…I wasn’t able to get the best images of my look… I am proud to say that I did not purchase this outfit, but I designed and sewed this outfit myself a few days before Lolla weekend. I bought a Burda style pattern for the culotte shorts, and then measured myself to create the halter top on my own. It took about three days to cut and sew, and it actually turned out perfect (better than last years)! So happy you guys FINALLY get to see the finished results! 😉
